Hull City Lunchtime Round-Up, Saturday 31st October 2026: McBurnie Opens Up Ahead of Ipswich Clash as Barcelona Interest Reportedly Emerges

It's matchday at the MKM Stadium as Hull City host fellow promoted side Ipswich Town in what is their final home game before the international break, with HullLive running live updates and reaction throughout the afternoon (HullLive).

Ahead of kick-off, Oli McBurnie has been speaking about the lack of chances he's had and the need for City to make the most of their home comforts, a timely message given today's fixture (HullLive).

Away from the pitch, TeamTalk are reporting exclusively that Barcelona are showing interest in a Hull City "sensation", with talk of transfer interest in the player said to be exploding (TeamTalk). Worth stressing this is one to file under transfer talk for now rather than anything concrete, but it will certainly get City fans talking ahead of this afternoon's game against the Tractor Boys.
