Hull 2-2 Ipswich, full time

Full time at the MKM Stadium: Hull City 2-2 Ipswich Town in a thrilling finish. Florentino's angled finish had Ipswich ahead at the break, before Iroegbunam and McBurnie's free-kick turned it round for Hull inside ten second-half minutes, only for Enciso's brilliant curler to restore parity. Late yellow cards for Ajayi and Diop added to the drama, but neither side could find a winner despite Ipswich finishing with the greater share of possession and shots. A fair result in the end, with both teams sharing the spoils after a game packed with momentum swings.

Ipswich hit straight back - Enciso curled a superb left-footed strike into the top corner from outside the box after Matusiwa's pass, cancelling out Hull's comeback within minutes. It's honours even at 2-2 as both sides push for a winner late on at the MKM.

Remarkable turnaround at the MKM - Hull have scored twice in ten minutes to flip the game on its head. Iroegbunam fired home after McBurnie's assist to level, then McBurnie himself curled a free-kick into the bottom corner to put the hosts 2-1 up, despite Ipswich still holding far more of the ball.

Ipswich remain in control early in the second half, still dominant in possession and shots, and Stroud picked up a yellow card for Hull after a cluster of free kicks around the hour mark. Hull have shown a bit more urgency going forward though, with McBurnie heading just over from a Belloumi cross after a corner, while Emersonn fired wide at the other end for the visitors.

Hull have finally found a foothold after a torrid start, winning three corners in quick succession and getting Iroegbunam and Egan both into decent positions, though neither troubled Walton directly. Ipswich still lead on the stats sheet but their intensity has dropped slightly since Palacios' booking, and Fatawu's close-range header was the closest either side came to adding a goal before the break. It's 0-1 to Ipswich at half-time with Hull showing more signs of life.

Florentino breaks the deadlock for Ipswich, bending a right-footed effort from a tight angle into the top corner after Ouattara's clever through ball. Hull have barely had the ball so far and are yet to register a shot.

Ipswich Town have dominated the opening quarter-hour, holding the bulk of possession and creating the better openings. Enciso tested Tzolakis with a long-range effort that was saved, and Fatawu also had a shot blocked after a driving run, but Hull's defence has otherwise held firm without the hosts getting a look in going forward.
